The year 2020 is an exciting year as it brings a few new things for me - including a professional change. Long story short, after a couple of years with Cisco in the networking space, I have decided to make a shift towards cloud. I got the chance to join Microsoft into the role of a Cloud Solution Architect within the Customer Success Unit in Munich. And guess what, I took it :-)
Professional Background and role fit:
The Solution Architect role currently includes three technical specializations: Apps & Infrastructure, Application Development as well as Big Data & Artificial Intelligence. Due to my background in Networking and Infrastructure, the move into the Apps & Infrastructure space within Microsoft makes a lot of sense. The cloud space is moving quickly, everything changes rapidly. I believe that my technical background helps to understand what challenges customer encounter during cloud migrations.
A job change is always exciting. New people, new perspectives, new technology - I’m ready to go and really looking forward to be joining this awesome organization.
